VIP is looking for people who are honest about their history, connected to their community, willing to work at ground level, open to scrutiny, and prepared to earn public trust before seeking political position.
Community Connection
Know the people, streets, institutions and problems of the constituency—not only its election mathematics.
Honest Disclosure
Disclose legal matters, conflicts, past affiliations and public controversies truthfully. Disclosure allows review; concealment destroys trust.
Ground Work First
Be willing to listen, volunteer, document local problems, organise citizens and work before seeking a position.
Measurable Public Service
Bring practical priorities, timelines and public accountability—not slogans without delivery.
THE VIP SELECTION PATH
No Backroom Ticket. A Public-Service Path.
Candidate interest is only the first step. Suitable applicants may move through verification, interviews, grassroots work, community feedback, policy assessment and final internal review.
01 — Interest Submitted
Application and disclosures received.
02 — Initial Review
Basic completeness, constituency connection and public-service record assessed.
03 — Verification
Identity, legal disclosures, public records and references reviewed appropriately.
04 — Ground Work
Applicants may be asked to volunteer, listen locally and demonstrate consistent service.
05 — Community and Policy Assessment
Community feedback, issue knowledge, values and practical priorities assessed.
06 — Final Internal Review
A ticket, role or endorsement is never automatic and remains subject to PFP’s process.
